When Drive It Day turns into Drive It Weekend. ![]()

Some of the organising team, and other local (and not so local) club members paid a visit to this year's National site. Some finer details were sorted out with the site and two runs out were organised. Saturday saw a trip down to the lovely Amberley Museum, an old chalk quarry with a narrow gauge railway, old buildings and working exhibitions. The Sunday run out was a brisk drive round the local countryside, taking in a number of local villages, ending at a nearby pub for some food and a natter. The Imps gained a lot of attention throughout the weekend and the site is looking forward to welcoming our members in a few months.
Results for race one at Brands today. It seems a good track for the Imps as James and Brendan finish in high overall positions against the bigger engine classes. Roll on tomorrow for race 2.

Hi all, I had an email from the hotel today and only 14 rooms have so far submitted menu choices for the evening meal. Originally, the hotel had asked for choices for the Friday and Saturday evening to be booked in advance but they are now happy for advanced notification for the Saturday evening only. ![]()

If you are a resident at the hotel or a non resident that is planning to eat in the hotel on the Saturday evening, can you PLEASE confirm your food choices for the Saturday night ASAP by emailing [email protected] and please remember to say if you are a resident or non resident. It will only take a minute or so to do and will make life much easier for catering at the hotel. Failure to let them know, may result in a very limited choice of food on the day or worst case scenario, the hotel running out of food and being unable to cater for us.![]()
