Get those diaries (Psions and Filofax) at the ready; THE most important dates of the imping year are the 1st - 5th of August 2002, of course. With that date firmly set in your mind (1st - 5th August 2001) the only question you will be left asking yourself, other than whether your boss will let you take the time off, or which illness you can fake this year, is where is it? Well, the answer my friends is Shropshire - Centre of the Universe. Well not quite, but certainly the centre of the UK, so there is no excuse of it being too far to travel this year! Your home for four nights, or less if you wish to miss out on the fun, will be The Grand Valley, in Hawkstone Park, near Shrewsbury. A spectacular location set in rolling hills, with follies, caves, and even a golf course. There will be all the usual attractions, including traders, organised drives, a disco and Graham Beddoe's flares, and hopefully some more unusual attractions too - like a hotel for you none campers.
